Threaded Ball Valves

Description

Threaded ball valve (screwed end ball valve) is used for cutting off, distributing and changing the flowing direction of medium in pipelines. 2PC/3PC ball valves are widely used, which are often horizontally installed. Threaded ball valve is a main product in our company as well as flange ball valve and welded ball valve.

Features

1. Screwed end ball valve is simple in structure, small in flow resistance, light in weight, small in volume and easy in maintenance.
2. Adopting plastics, the sealing materials are excellent in sealing performance.
3. Threaded ball valve is convenient to operate, easy to open and close, and easy to control.
4. When in full open and close state, the sealing surface of ball and valve seat is isolated from medium, thus sealing surface will not be corroded.

Attention

1. The installation place and height of screwed end ball valve should be conformed to designing requirements.
2. Handles of manual valves installed on utilidors should not be downward.
3. Sealing gasket should be installed between valve flange and pipeline flange according to requirements.
4. If threaded ball valves with transmission structure, please refer to instruction manual to install.
5. When choosing screwed end ball valve, sizes of drift diameter, scope of pressure, medium, product materials, and using temperature should be taken into consideration.

Operation

1. Before installing threaded ball valves, the medium in pipe should be cleaned. When installing, some space should be left for handle to rotate.
2. To own longer operating life of screwed end ball valve, customers should consider such factors as normal conditions, suitable temperature, reasonable corrosion degree, pressure ratio, etc.

Care and Maintenance

1. Before putting threaded ball valve into use, pipe and valve flowing part should be cleaned to prevent from vestigital slag and other sundries.
2. When cleaning, the solvent should not generate chemical reaction with the parts needed to clean, and the solvent itself should have no corrosion.
3. Please make sure the vestigital dust, oil and other attachment are completely cleaned. If the water cannot achieve the clean standard, users can use ethyl alcohol to clean the special parts under the condition that there is no damage to screwed ball valve and its components. The valve and components can only be assembled after volatilization of cleaner.
4. If threaded ball valve stored in the open air for a long time, the valve body and components may not be used normally because of generated corrosion. Ball valves should be stored to avoid rain, water and moisture.
5. If screwed end ball valve is stored for 12 months or more, it should be tested before using to guarantee stable property.
